T&D Sustentável has saved more than 1.71 billion litres of water in the operations it serves, according to the indicator panel the company publishes on its website, in October 2026. On the same panel, more than 1.3 billion litres of effluent were no longer generated and more than 3,400 tonnes of CO₂ were avoided. In 2022, the target was to reach 1 billion litres by 2025, and it was met ahead of time.

In short:

  • More than 1.71 billion litres of water saved, in October 2026.
  • More than 1.3 billion litres of effluent no longer generated and more than 3,400 tonnes of COâ‚‚ avoided.
  • 47 cities in 9 states and more than 30,000 people reached by awareness work.
  • The 1 billion litre mark, the target for 2025, was passed in February 2025.
  • T&D was named NÂş1 Startup in Water and Sanitation in the 100 Open Startups Ranking in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

How much water has T&D Sustentável saved?

The figures from T&D’s indicator panel, in October 2026:

IndicatorCumulative total
Water savedMore than 1.71 billion litres
Effluent no longer generatedMore than 1.3 billion litres
COâ‚‚ avoidedMore than 3,400 tonnes
Presence47 cities in 9 states
People reached by awareness workMore than 30,000

Saving water also reduces the sewage generated and the energy spent pumping and treating water, which is why the effluent and COâ‚‚ indicators move together with the water one.

How did these numbers grow?

Fast. At the end of 2022, T&D had saved 262 million litres of water and had a target of reaching 1 billion litres by 2025. By February 2025, the mark had already been passed:

The awards of the period are in awards and recognition, 2021 and 2022.

Where does the impact come from?

From every operation served, added together: what hospitals, shops, industries, schools, hotels and residential complexes stop consuming after implementation. The case with the strongest public record is Rede D’Or: in the network’s sustainability report, under GRI standards, the water efficiency project with T&D cut consumption by 16.5% and saved 260,000 m³, or 260 million litres, in 40 hospitals in 2025. See the Rede D’Or case.

At the other end, the same logic applies to a restaurant or a residential building: in the testimonial published by T&D, La Patria Café e Bistrô reported a 35% saving in consumption.

What does this impact mean for clients?

Three things, which show up in each project’s report:

  1. A smaller bill. Water saved is no longer paid for, and with many utilities the sewage charge falls with it.
  2. A measured ESG indicator. Water saved, effluent avoided and COâ‚‚ avoided go into the sustainability report, as shown in ESG and water management.
  3. Less risk. Those who consume less feel water crises and contingency tariffs less, as shown in water crisis and companies.

SEA 360Âş handles implementation, without building works, with a baseline under the IPMVP protocol, efficiency technology at points of use, electronic leak detection and repairs, and continues with ongoing management, with monthly efficiency and ESG impact reports. The ceiling observed in the full programme is a 70% reduction in consumption.
